Ontario Soccer – The premier development opportunity for personal and professional growth in Ontario has sold-out in record-time, with over 500 delegates from across the province purchasing tickets to this year’s event in London, ON, on March 1-3, 2019

Feb. 11, 2019

Vaughan, ON – Ontario Soccer announced today that the Ontario Soccer Summit 2019, as presented by Respect in Sport, is officially a sellout for the March 1-3, 2019 event in London, ON.

Over 500 delegates from across the province will attend this year’s premier development opportunity for personal and professional growth in soccer.

Every year, soccer leaders in the coaching, match official and administrative realms gather for a weekend of team building, networking and unique learning opportunities.

“It’s fantastic to see the response from our community as the Ontario Soccer Summit grows every year. That we have sold-out in record-time for this year’s event, is a testament to the growing demand for this type of quality programming,” said Johnny Misley, Chief Executive Officer at Ontario Soccer. “Every year our membership marks the first weekend in March on their calendars as the must-attend event for their year. We’re looking forward to delivering on their expectations with a great weekend.”

Headlining this year’s event are three keynote speakers.

The first is John Herdman, the Canadian Men’s National team Head Coach and the key figure who led the Canadian Women’s National team to two consecutive Olympic bronze medals.

He will be joined by legendary match official Howard Webb, who is now on the forefront of soccer technology, as he heads up the Video Assistant Referee program with Major League Soccer and is the General Manager of the Professional Referee Organization.

The keynote speakers are rounded out by Nancy Spotton, the CEO and Co-Founder of MPWR, a group that is powering the next generation of trailblazers in sport and society and is quickly becoming known for their use of aggregated data to create powerful talent development programs that inspire performance.

Additionally there are 27 other speakers and two panel discussions that will be available to all 2019 delegates at this year’s host venues, Wolf Performance Hall and BMO Centre in London.

With the announced sellout, ticket sales are now closed and there will be no walk up sales on the weekend of the Ontario Soccer Summit.
