REMINDER: CPC now accepting media credential requests for Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games

Expressions of interest for Canadian media due February 26, 2021

With just over a year until the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games, the Canadian Paralympic Committee is now accepting expressions of interest for media accreditation for the event.
 
The Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games will take place March 4-13, 2022 with competition taking place in Para alpine skiing, Para ice hockey, Para nordic skiing (cross country and biathlon), Para snowboard, and wheelchair curling.
 
Canadian media interested in accreditation are asked to fill out the application form by February 26, 2021. At this time, news outlets are asked to provide an estimated number of credential requests, and final details will not be required until later this year.

Please note this is the only process for Canadian journalists and photographers to apply for accreditation for the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games. 

The following categories of accreditation will be managed by the Canadian Paralympic Committee for the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games:

E: Journalist – Journalist, editor, photographic editor, employed or contracted by an international or national news agency, a general daily newspaper, a sports newspaper, magazine or Internet site, a digital journalist, or independent/freelance journalist under contract

EP: Photographer – A photographer meeting the same criteria as those defined for category “E”

ET: Technician – Accreditations in this category are limited to technical support personnel of major news agencies, organizations and/or photo agencies only

All interested news organizations will be contacted by the Canadian Paralympic Committee following the application deadline.

Please note: The International Paralympic Committee leads the media accreditation application process for all non-rights holdingbroadcasters, classified under ENR credentials. The application process for ENR accreditation is available via the IPC’s website.
