At the conclusion of the tournament’s Preliminary Round, six teams have advanced to join Major Soccer League (MLS) sides, CF Montréal and Vancouver Whitecaps FC, as the quarterfinalists of the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship. Set to begin next week across the country, Toronto FC, Cavalry FC, Forge FC, Atlético Ottawa, Pacific FC, and CS Saint-Laurent remain in contention as four new home-and-away matchups have been determined.

This year’s quarterfinals will consist of a total of four Canadian Premier League (CPL) teams, Canada’s three MLS teams, and one Ligue1 Québec side, beginning 7 May 2024 in Hamilton, ON and will conclude on 29 May 2024 in Langford, BC.

The preliminary round saw a total of 23 goals scored, including Atlético Ottawa’s tournament record setting seven goal victory (7-0). The start of the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship was one of the most exciting preliminary rounds in tournament history, with two of the matches decided in penalty kicks. A combined 25,088 fans were in attendance nationally.   

All four Quarter-Final Round series will be broadcast live on OneSoccer, available online at OneSoccer.ca and via the OneSoccer app, on the fuboTV Canada platform, and as a linear channel on Telus’s Optik TV (Channel 980).
