Ontario Amateur Softball Association Launches High Performance Coaching Program

The Ontario Amateur Softball Association (OASA) is pleased to launch the OASA High Performance Coaching Program.

This comprehensive program is designed to provide high potential coaches who aspire to coach with Team Ontario for future Canada Summer Games and at the national level with our Team Canada U18, U23, or Senior Men’s
level.

The program will last twelve months and feature a combination of in-person coach camps, virtual sessions, one-on-one
coaching support, self-discovery learning. World renowned speakers include Michael White (University of Texas Softball), Chris Jones (Assistant Coach with Softball Canada Women’s Team), Mike Renney (three time Olympic softball coach), Patrick Murphy (Head Coach at Alabama Softball).

This program is specifically intended for individuals who have goals to coach at a national or international
level. Coaches will be expected to participate in monthly virtual sessions, two in person weekends, and commit to completing a self-assigned project as part of the program from October 2021 –November 2022. The cost for the program is $500 per coach.
