Nominations Open for Jumping Youth Bursary Program

The Equestrian Canada (EC) Jumping Committee is currently accepting nominations for the 2020 Jumping Youth Bursary Program. This program, made possible thanks to a generous donation by Mark Samuel, Kevin Sanford, and the Samuel-Sanford family, was developed by the Jumping Committee, formerly Jump Canada, in recognition of the challenges young riders face as they strive to continue their education while competing at high levels of jumping sport. It is open to athletes between the ages of 14 and 21 who compete in hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions.

Nominations are welcomed from coaches, show organizers, provincial federations, fellow competitors, and other individuals who are EC Sport Licence Holders in good standing and must include a letter of support from an EC Sport Licence Holder who is independent of both the nominee and the nominator. Nominations close on October 30, 2020.
