OTTAWA – Junior National Team infielder Dylan O’Rae (Sarnia, Ontario) took the honour of being the first Canadian selected in the 2022 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft when the Milwaukee Brewers selected him in the third round, 102^nd overall.

O’Rae joined the Junior National Team program for the Fall Instructional League Camp last October and recently participated three Junior National Team training camps this spring in Florida and the Dominican Republic.

In 25 games in a Junior National Team uniform against professional competition, O’Rae slashed .257/.464/.343 with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 8 RBIs, 26 runs scored and 17 stolen bases.
