Meghan McLean is looking to capture her first Women’s Amateur Championship
Megan McLean from Ken Wo Golf Club fired a second-round 73 and has a 4-stroke lead heading into tomorrow’s final round at Oakfield Golf & Country Club. The 21-year-old, who plays golf for the Stetson University Golf Team in Florida, has a two-day total of 146 and carded two birdies and three bogeys during today’s second round. McLean is looking to win her first Women’s Amateur Championship during tomorrow’s final round.
McLean‘s younger sister, Heather, is currently in second place after firing a 1-over par (73) during today’s round and has two-day total of 150. Heather, who won the Women’s Amateur in 2018, is a member of the Wagner College Golf Team in Staten Island, New York.
Allison Chandler, of Chester Golf Club, shot a 77 (+5) today and is in third place with a two-day total of 153. Chandler, who is a member of the Gardner-Webb University Golf Team in Charlotte, North Carolina, won the Nova Scotia Women’s Amateur in 2017 and 2019.

Arsenault and McCarville tied heading into the final round of the 2020 Women’s Senior Championship
Ashburn’s Joanie McCarville fired the round of the day after carding a 2-over par (74) during the second round of the 2020 Women’s Senior Championship at Oakfield Golf & Country Club. McCarville carded four birdies, two bogeys and two double-bogeys during today’s round.
2019 Senior Women’s Champion Debbie Arsenault, fired a 77 during today’s second round and has a two-day total of 155 and is tied with McCarville for the lead heading into the final round.
In third place is Leanne Richardson from Country Meadows Golf Club l Moncton, New Brunswick. Richardson fired a second round 80 and is four strokes behind the leaders.
