The deadline for media accreditation is 31 March 2023

World Athletics is pleased to announce that written press journalists and photographers wishing to cover the World Athletics Championships – Budapest 23, being held from 19-27 August 2023, can now register for media accreditation online.

In order to access the World Athletics online media accreditation system, written press journalists and photographers will need a specific access code. If you wish to attend and do not have an access code, please contact your national athletics federation. Please note that for World Athletics Championships, media country quotas are applied.

Media accommodation

Official media accommodation requests can be submitted through the media accreditation system.

High demand for media accommodation is expected and the number of options is limited. Therefore, we invite members of the media to book their accommodation as soon as possible as the deadline to do so is 28 February 2023.
