Canada Basketball – SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) – Media accreditation is now open for the FIBA Women’s Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament Americas 2019 set to take place from November 14-17 in Bahia Blanca (Argentina) and Edmonton (Canada).

All media representatives who wish to attend the event are kindly requested to apply using the FIBA Media Portal.

The deadline for submitting applications is November 12.

The application information submitted will be subject to a review process.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Successful applicants will be notified by FIBA’s Americas Regional Office; completing the application form does not automatically guarantee accreditation.

A proper and valid, electronic version of a portrait photo (headshot) of the applicant must be uploaded during the procedure.

Applications that do not include a proper and valid photo may not be considered.

In order to be considered for media credentials, an applicant must represent a bona fide media organization that produces and publishes original content.

Applications for media credentials by club representatives, agents, educational booklet authors, fan bloggers, or media that do not produce original content based on generally accepted news gathering criteria will not be considered.

Freelancers (writers, photographers, and videographers) may be asked to prove that they are on assignment with a media outlet in order to be considered for credentials.

Credentials will be awarded on the basis of the professional history of the applying media, relevance to the event and basketball in general, as well as space availability.

If you have any questions, please contact FIBA Americas at communications-americas@fiba.basketball.
