Manitoba Soccer Announces 2019 Western Canada Summer Games Rosters

Manitoba Soccer Association – Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) is pleased to announce the final rosters for the upcoming 2019 Western Canada Summer Games.

The 2019 Western Canada Summer Games will be held in Swift Current, Saskatchewan from August 9 – 18, 2019. Soccer is an under-16 event with both the male and female competitions taking place August 9 – 13, 2019.

Each roster has representation from several different clubs and hometowns across Manitoba. The men and women’s rosters are each comprised of 18 players, 2 coaches and 1 manager.

The men’s coaching staff includes Scott Ansell and Jesse Roziere, while the women’s coaching staff includes Ron Jones and James Silva. All the coaching staff bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their respective teams.

MSA Executive Director, Héctor Vergara, commented, “Our soccer players and coaches have all worked very hard to prepare for the competition and represent our province to the best of their abilities. We are very proud of all the players that took part in the process as they push themselves to be the best. We know the teams are well prepared and we wish both teams much success.”
