Gymnastics Canada is pleased to launch the first part of the new CanGym program for registered clubs across Canada
OTTAWA, ON (September 22, 2022) – Gymnastics Canada is pleased to launch the pilot version of the new CanGym program. With the dedication and work of our technical developer team and our Gym for All Committee the launch of the new Active Start pilot module of the CanGym program is here!  The new program includes a revitalized CanGym brand identity, a new online interactive platform, updated curriculum, new video content, and more. The platform is currently in its pilot phase and will have continual updates in the coming months to improve functionality. The power of gymnastics is that it supports fundamental development and coordination, strengthens participants mentally and socially, and creates opportunities to experience the joy of movement. CanGym is a national, progressive program that balances the physical, mental, and social aspects of sport in a unified way. Read more.

Gymnastics Canada welcomes new Board members elected at the 2022 Annual General Meetings 
OTTAWA, ON (September 21, 2022) – For the first time in three years, Gymnastics Canada and its Member Associations came together in person for the Gymnastics Canada Annual General Meeting, held in Regina from September 8-10th.  
“After two years of virtual meetings, the opportunity to meet face to face and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sport of Gymnastics in Canada was welcomed by all” said Jeff Thomson, Chair of the Gymnastics Canada Board of Directors; “We also had the opportunity to thank the departing Board members, welcome four new Board members, and engage in healthy dialogue with all leaders across the country”.
