CPC to make video highlights from Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games available for non rights-holding media

Outlets interested in receiving footage asked to register for access

Toronto, August 22, 2021 – The Canadian Paralympic Committee is asking media outlets interested in receiving news access footage of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games to register for access.

Video highlights footage will be sent each day to registered news outlets. The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will take place August 24 to September 5, with 128 Canadian athletes set to compete in 18 sports.

The footage is available for reputable non rights-holding media, who may use the footage free for editorial use only.

The Canadian Paralympic Media Consortium, led by the Canadian Paralympic Committee, is the rights holding broadcaster of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in Canada. The consortium includes broadcast partners CBC/Radio-Canada, AMI, and Sportsnet, and digital partners Twitter, Facebook, and MXZN.
