TORONTO (January 17, 2023) — The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is accepting expressions of interest for press accreditation to the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

There is heightened anticipation for these Games that will include a record number of disciplines with Olympic qualification opportunities for Paris 2024.

Canadian media are asked to complete and submit an expression of interest form by Friday, February 22, 2023. Please submit one expression of interest per organization.

Late submissions will not be considered.

The COC will consider an organization’s national scope in coverage, readership and circulation, previous history in attending and covering a Pan American or Olympic Games and geographical representation.

Media that have been granted press accreditation will be contacted by the COC at a later date.

Journalist (E): Journalist, editor, photographic editor, employed or contracted by an international or national news agency, a general daily newspaper, a sports newspaper, magazine or internet site, a digital journalist, or freelance journalist under contract.

Photographer (EP): Photographer, meeting the same criteria as those defined by category “E”.
