The Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO), in partnership with the University of Toronto, are launching a first-of-its-kind study into the landscape of coaching in Ontario.
The Ontario Coaching Report Card aims to be a comprehensive assessment of coaching across Ontario. The Report Card will collect and track data from a cross-section of demographics coaches including – sports, communities, level of sport, experience of coaches, and more, to shape how coaching and sport can be better for everyone.
To make this happen, the CAO is calling upon all Ontario coaches to share their experiences through an anonymous short survey by visiting https://www.coachesontario.ca/2021-coaching-report-card/.
The survey will cover:
- How the sport system could better support you?
- How has COVID-19 impacted your athletes?
- What challenges have you encountered along your coaching journey?
- Why does coaching matter?
- And much much more…
The results of the first Ontario Coaching Report Card will be made publicly available in early 2022. The Report Card will help identify critical factors affecting the quality of the entire provincial sport system for coaches and be re-evaluated every two years.
