Canadian Youth and Recreational Sports Activities Have returned to  65% of Pre-COVID Levels according to new Industry data

As youth sport returns across Canada, the latest user data from TeamSnap show that youth sport activities across Canada have been steadily increasing with more and more events being scheduled throughout the summer.  Overall, Canadian activities are at 65% compared to pre-COVID levels in the summer of 2019.

The data shows a steady return to pre-COVID-19 levels in all provinces, with summer hockey, soccer and baseball having the highest number of events scheduled.

The majority of the activities being scheduled (80%) are classified as “practices” or “skills sessions” with 20% having been listed as games and tournaments.
