Canada unites for One Minute Challenge

A joint initiative between RCA, British Rowing, Rowing Australia and Rowing NZ, the mass-participation competition challenged anyone with a rowing machine at home to see how far they could row in one minute over the weekend of May 7-11, with members of the public competing alongside current National Team athletes and alumni from each nation.

Jason Marshall (M30-39) and Erik Hohnstein (M19-29) led the way for Canada, finishing tied for seventh in the overall rankings, having both logged a distance of 404 metres in one minute.

Canada had 13 individuals finish ranked in the top three across 11 age groups, with two individuals, Jeremy Hall (M19-29) and Justine Gillert (F19-29), ranked first and third respectively in the PR2 category.

RCA would like to thank and congratulate everyone who contributed to the success of the One Minute Challenge. Full results and standings from the event can be found here.
