Canada Takes Home Silver at FIBA U16 Americas Women’s Championship 2019

Canada Basketball – AYSÉN, CHILE (June 22, 2019) – Canada fell to the United States of America 87-37 on Saturday evening and took home silver at the FIBA U16 Women’s Americas Championship 2019

Avianna Thompson led Canada with 10 points. Both Fatima Diakhaté and Lauren Audino added six points respectively, while Izabella Zingaro had six rebounds for Canada. Payton Verhulst scored 18 points in the win for the United States of America.
