(Ottawa, Ontario – April 26, 2021) – The True Sport Foundation is calling for applications to the Lyle Makosky Values and Ethics in Sport Fund before the April 30, 2021 deadline. The True Sport Foundation will award a maximum of two scholarships, valued at $2000 each, to support the study of values and/or ethical challenges affecting non-professional sport in Canada.

Lyle Makosky established the Fund in 2014 to support the work of the True Sport Foundation and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), understanding that examining issues that affect the quality of sport experiences is key to ensuring sport in Canada that is fair, safe and open to everyone.
