BC Indigenous Provincial Rifle Shooting Camp & Championship

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Council (I∙SPARC) is pleased to present this provincial athlete development event in partnership with the BC Target Sports Association and the Abbotsford Fish and Game Club.  
 
Saturday, March 28 – Sunday, March 29, 2020
March 28 – 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (skills development focus)
March 29 – 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (match competition opportunity ** potential for an early finish to assist with travel home**

Please note this is NOT a Team BC Selection event for the 2020 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG), however, this event does provide opportunity for athletes to meet Team BC Head Coach, Curt Smecher, and to better prepare for the Team BC selection process for NAIG 2020. 

Who: BC Indigenous Youth (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) Male and Female ages 11-18.

Cost:  $30 – fee includes lunch.

Team BC 2020 NAIG – Athlete Selection Process

All eligible shooters (Indigenous athletes First Nations, Métis, Inuit athletes born in years 2001 through 2007) wishing to be considered for Team BC competing at Halifax 2020 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) are required to submit a formal Athlete Expression of Interest by March 30, 2020.
