AMPED 2022 Diversity & Inclusion Training Program Offerings are now available for registration
AMPED (www.amped-training.com) continues into the 2022 new year offering its suite of Diversity and Inclusion training programs, including one-day courses as well as 21-hour certificate courses. Our programs have been delivered safely both in-person, as well as virtually for the past three years. Our flagship certificate programs that include Policy2People and SenseABLE Service, continue to receive exceptional feedback that demonstrate positive change to organizational cultures as they implement Diverse & Inclusive concepts from our training that have lasting impacts, including a clear ROI for their organizations.
“Being an organization that serves a wide range of children and families means that we must constantly strive to meet diverse needs and adopt inclusive practice. Through the Policy2People and SenseAble Service Programs, the Amped2Play team challenged us to evaluate and reflect on our current practices and spaces and to look for opportunities to grow as a team to better serve our community. Brandi’s dynamic facilitation had our group constantly engaged and smiling while at the same time building our capacity for inclusion. The sensory assessment process was a powerful tool for understanding how our environment impacts not only our members, but our staff, leading us to identify numerous opportunities for positive change. Our team is stronger because of having participated in these programs and I strongly recommend this training for any corporate, non-profit, or small business as it is nothing shy of invaluable.
Thank you just doesn’t quite do it.”
Executive Director BGC (formerly Boys and Girls Club) Cochrane and Area – Jill Bilodeau
Our team’s credibility is founded in both academic, and developmental and high-performance sport and recreation across Canada and Internationally. Our trainers and leaders are well versed in understanding needs of the sport audience in Canada, having worked with national teams through to club and local recreational programs.
As we all navigate the challenges that the pandemic has and continues to bring forth, the sport and recreation communities have certainly seen significant impacts on athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials, parents, and program leadership and staff. Our programs are focused on creating healthy strategies to engage everyone’s unique differences, including their own personal challenges, allowing individuals to step beyond these fears to a place in which collaborative innovation can occur that allows the organizational culture of inclusion to become a daily baseline of operational health.
