Adopt an Athlete Campaign

Join PacificSport Fraser Valley in powering sport

PacificSport Fraser Valley (PSFV) is proud to announce its Adopt an Athlete Campaign for 2020. Become part of the main community that is backing sport in the Fraser Valley by donating to the Powering Sport Fund. For one full month (November 16 – December 14), all donations to the Powering Sport Fund will go directly to the Adopt an Athlete Campaign, powering PSFV’s 2021 Athlete Grants.

With a goal of $5,000, the Adopt an Athlete Campaign would award 10 PSFV athletes with a $500 grant to aid in their high-performance sport journey.

How Donors Benefit:

  • Receive a charitable tax receipt
  • Become part of local athletes’ hometown stories – many of them on their journey to the Olympic or Paralympic Games
  • Achieve brand alignment with high-performance sport and grassroots community sport initiatives
  • Expand reach to our large audience of athletes and coaches

How to Donate:

  • Visit: BC Amateur Sport Fund
  • When choosing Project Funding Preference -> Select ‘multi-sport’ -> Select ‘PacificSport Fraser Valley – Powering Sport Fund’

*A donation of $250+ will be provided with a feature on our social media platforms and in our newsletter. A donation of $500+ will receive this plus a photo and visit from the athlete who is directly supported by your contribution! These visits will be coordinated in 2021 in line with public health sanctions.

More about the Powering Sport Fund: Through the BC Amateur Sport Fund, the Powering Sport Fund’s charitable donations contribute to PacificSport Fraser Valley’s community and high-performance sport initiatives, and ultimately, raising the next generation of active children and elite athletes in the region.
