“The Canada Games program is a very exciting opportunity for all involved including athletes, coaches and support staff. I am thrilled to be leading this staff into the 2021 Games and working to bring another invaluable experience to this group of athletes. The Canada Games serves so many purposes for these young athletes from allowing them to experience their first multi-sport games environment, being a stepping stone to other ventures to come or as the pinnacle of their athletic careers.  Similarly, the Canada Games experience provides an incredible opportunity for staff to learn and grow. We have an excellent mix of coaches that have extensive Canada Games experience to those who will experience the games for the first time. Those experiencing the games for the first time have a vast amount of expertise in the sport and I look forward to working with staff to bring performance, memories and lifelong experience to the 2021 NS Canada Games Team” – Head Coach Jonathan Doucette.

Congratulations to all those selected to the staff team.  For more information contact Jonathan Doucette at athleticstd@sportnovascotia.ca
