Ultimate Canada – August 10, 2019  — From August 11-18, Ultimate players from across Canada will be arriving in Edmonton, AB, to compete in six different divisions at the 2019 Canadian Ultimate Championships.

Edmonton will play host to the Junior Women and Open divisions from August 11-14, with the Opening Ceremonies taking place at Ivor Dent Sports Park on Sunday August 11th. The Ceremonies will feature an athlete procession and speeches, followed by a showcase game featuring two of the top Junior Open teams in the country. The ceremonies kick off at 6:00pm, with the game starting at 7:15pm.

The Junior division finals will be played at Ivor Dent Sports Park on Wednesday August 14. The Junior Open game will start at 4pm, and the Junior Women at 6:30pm.

Following the Junior competition, the adult Women’s, Open, Women’s Masters, and Open Masters divisions will get into full swing on the 15th and continue through to the 18th of August. The adult finals will take place on Sunday August 18 at Ivor Dent Sports Park. The Open final will take place at 10am, and followed by the Women final at 12:30pm. 

The Canadian Ultimate Championships will see 88 teams compete over six divisions for national titles.
