2019 Canadian Ultimate Championships Concluded & Determined Teams to Select Team Canada for 2020.

Ultimate Canada – August 27, 2019  — From August 11-25, Ultimate players from across Canada competed in Edmonton, AB, and Brampton, ON in eight different divisions at the 2019 Canadian Ultimate Championships (CUC). CUC saw 110 teams compete for national titles. The event kicked off with the junior divisions, where Eclipse (BC) captured the Gold medal in the Open division, and Toro (ON) in the Women division.

The 2019 CUC was used as a qualifying event for the 2020 WFDF World Ultimate & Guts Championships (WUGC) and 2020 World Masters Ultimate Championships (WMUC). The following teams earned a Gold medal and the right to form the core of the team that will represent Canada on the world stage next year.

Mixed: LAB (QC)                                                         Mixed Master: Qold (QC)
Women: 6ixers (ON)                                                   Women Master: Lowercase (ON)
Open: Furious George (BC)                                         Open Master: Still (ON)
                                                                                    Open Grand Master: TBD

The Grand Master Men’s bid for WMUC will be awarded at the Montreal Grand Masters tournament taking place September 21-22, 2019.
