Ultimate Canada – April 8, 2019 —The 2019 Canadian 4v4 Ultimate Championships took place in Gatineau, QC, over the weekend. Twenty-two teams from across the country competed at the event with the hopes of winning the title.

The even took place at Complexe Branchaud-Brière in Gatineau from April 6-7. The tournament took a mixed gendered format, with two women and two men on the field.

In the end, it was the number one seeded team, Louis Luncheonette, from Sherbrooke, QC, who managed to fight their way to a gold medal. Louis Luncheonette survived some close games, including a universe point game in the finals, to win their first ever C4UC title.

Brunch Money, from Halifax, NS, returned to the event after a hiatus in 2018. The 2017 champions were impressive throughout the weekend and found themselves back in the final. They finished with the silver medal and left little doubts that they will challenge for a podium spot every time they attend this event.

Round out the podium is NOMO, from Edmonton, AB. NOMO finished third in 2018 and managed close out another universe point game against Tetraphobia, from Toronto, ON, for the 2019 bronze medal. NOMO has been close to pushing for a final spot the last two years and will look improve on their bronze medals in 2020.
