Sport Tourism Industry gathers in Edmonton for Sport Events Congress 2022
November 2, 2022 (Edmonton, AB): It will be three days packed with professional development, business-to-business promotion and networking for the over 350 people in Edmonton to attend Sport Events Congress 2022 (SEC22).
This annual gathering of sport event rights holders, destinations, event suppliers and sponsors is organized by Sport Tourism Canada and takes place at the Edmonton Convention Centre November 2-4, 2022.

Known as ‘speed dating’ this popular business-to-business marketplace involves pre-scheduled 8–10-minute appointments (aka dates) between events rights holders/sport organizations who have events open for bid in 2023 and beyond and destinations who are municipal members of Sport Tourism Canada
11:45 – Luncheon Plenary – Team Canada para-athlete, Amanda Rummery
Dedicated to raising awareness around para-sport and helping others with a disability to live a healthy and active lifestyle, Amanda will describe how she brings joy into her everyday activities.
