The Evidence is In: PL in Child Care Settings Results in Many Benefits Webinar

November 19, 2020 12:00 AM EST
|

Active for Life and the Government of Canada funded a Proof of Concept study to determine potential benefits of daily PL and active play in child care settings. We were thrilled to discover that not only did children benefit in terms of language and communication, creativity, and focus, they were better able to self-regulate. As a result, educators found they spent less time managing challenging behaviours and were more engaged in play with the children. Families also saw positive changes in their children at home. This webinar will describe the study design, intervention tools, and results. A brief video will share first hand experiences of the study.
