March for Concussion 2019

March 30, 2019 1:00 PM EDT
|

The University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute (uOBMRI) is hosting its second annual March for Concussion event, an educational fundraiser focused on raising awareness and funds to improve the lives and care of concussion patients. This year, our speaker line up includes: Claire Smith, former Olympian, Dr. Blaine Hoshizaki, Director, Neuroetrauma Impact Science Labratory and the introduction of the Post-Concussion Research Consortium (PCRC).

Major challenges for patients include timely access to care, predicting whether injury will lead to substantial deficits, and under-standing of when activity can be resumed. In order to combat these challenge face-on, the uOBMRI facilitates and funds an innovative network of researchers and projects. This event and associated fundraising campaign will promote and support research ongoing in our Ottawa community.

Join us on March 30th, 2019 to show your support!
