Concussion Management: Best practices and lessons from the Canadian sport and recreation system

Concussions can affect all Canadians. Regardless of where they occur, the prevention and management of concussions are important topics of discussion. Join us for a webinar that will share insights from the concussion conversations currently happening in the sport and recreation sectors on management and prevention.

The webinar will apply a recreational sport and physical activity lens to current evidence, including the definition of concussion; the different causes of a concussion; the signs, symptoms and treatment of concussion; and links to a wide variety of resources, including those from the Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC) It will also explore the role of the recreation sector in prevention and policy from a program and policy perspective.
