This year, Sport Medicine & Science Council, in partnership with Sport Manitoba and the Provincial Concussion Working Group, is hosting two workshops on concussion education to continue the awareness on the resources and supports available in Manitoba.
This 60 minute session is for anyone who is looking for the basics on concussion awareness, how to recognize the symptoms and where to go for further information or treatment. This session provides an overview of the concussion information that is beneficial to coaches, athletes, parents, officials, teachers, students, and anyone involved in physical activity promotion. Workshop will be a lecture style with a question and answer period.
