Executing a big year is difficult in itself. Qualifying for the Olympics is no easy feat. As every coach knows, a season plan is filled with change. Building on the experience from the previous year and improving is even more difficult. The 2020 (2021) Tokyo Olympics was no exception and added even more challenges. However, Sarah Mitton and coach Richard Parkinson were able to build on the success of the 2021 season and not only improve on Mitton’s success but smash it multiple times throughout the year. Join Olympian Angela Whyte as she sits down with Olympian Sarah Mitton and Richard Parkinson to discuss their season in review and how they built on their success to having an incredible 2022 season, and look on to the 2023 one!
