The 2023 National Kickboxing Championship was named ‘The Battle of the Moose!’. The theme is based on the artwork that was commissioned by Patrick Hunter. Patrick is a two-spirted Ojibway artist who is world-renowned for his incredible First Nations artwork. He graciously provided WAKO Canada the artwork for our Championship awards and worked alongside our planning committee. The Battle of the Moose represents athletes that fight honorably in the spirit of fair play and the love of sport.
