Knowledge Mobilization Services

Leveraging SIRC’s expertise to transform research findings and key messages into formats that resonate with the target audience.

Knowledge mobilization involves sharing research findings and evidence with an audience who can use these insights  in practice. We offer access to our extensive networks that include community and provincial sport clubs, national high performance and corporate partners, as well as leading academic and content experts. Leveraging these networks, we collaborate to help get key messages to the right people, in the right format, at the right time.

SIRC Services and areas of expertise
  • Step 1: Every knowledge mobilization project begins with a free consultation meeting. This allows us to learn more about the project and provide guidance on the knowledge approach, while discussing timeline and budget.
  • Step 2: After the consultation meeting, we often conduct a comprehensive research review, assessing all data sources related to the knowledge being mobilized.
  • Step 3: Based on the consultation and research review, we will propose a detailed knowledge mobilization plan, outlining one or more of the deliverables.

We create customized knowledge mobilization plans to ensure the key messages reach the right audience in the right format. Our plans address the who, what, where, when, why, and how, ensuring key messages are effectively packaged and communicated to resonate with the target audience.

We create content and offer creative direction for a variety of text-based products with graphic elements, including (but not limited to) reports, bulletins, briefs, infographics, templates, toolkits and more.

We craft messaging and communications expertise to help new research and key messages resonate with the sport and physical activity sector. By fostering connections and collaboration, we ensure that messages are not only heard but also understood across the entire sport system.

We develop content and provide design oversight for e-learning modules and related  materials,  including training manuals, workbooks, and interactive learning activities to ensure a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for the target audience. For example:

We plan, coordinate and co-host live and virtual knowledge-sharing events, including webinars, workshops, symposia and conferences for the sport and physical activity sector.

We handle every aspect of video production, from storyboarding and scriptwriting to recording and production oversight. Our services cover a wide range of video-based products, including presentation recordings, graphically illustrated videos, and more. Check out our YouTube channel for more.
