Board EvaluationPosted on June 27, 2012
Speaker: Judy Sutcliffe
Evaluating board performance, both of the group and of individual directors provides an opportunity for the board to assess its own effectiveness, to identify areas of strength and weakness, to set standards and performance expectations based on set criteria, to evaluate individual member performance, and if necessary, to develop remedial plans. When is the right time to do Board evaluation? Who should do it and how should it be done? Is there any relationship between the type of Board you have (Administrative, Management, Policy or Policy Governance) and how you should do evaluation? And what do you do with the results once the evaluation has been completed? These are some of the topics that will be covered in the webinar “Board Evaluation”.
