Alison (she, her) is a professor of Sport Management and Lead of the Sport and Social Impact Research Group at Western University in London. She is also a member of the Canadian Women & Sport Impact Research Committee, a track-and-field coach at Western, and a former Canadian Champion and National Team heptathlete. She researches not-for-profit and community-based organizations’ management of safe, inclusive sport and physical activity. Alison shares findings with sport organizations of all levels, spanning research projects on gender equity, safer culture of high-performance sport, newcomers and organized sport, and managing concussion in youth sport.
