Youth Bowl Canada’s 2019 National Fivepin Championships

Bowl Canada – Provincial Champions from across Canada are preparing for a trip to Ontario as OSHAWA hosts the nation in the 55th ANNUAL edition of the Youth Bowl Canada (YBC) National Fivepin Championships May 5-6-7.  

The prestigious event kicks off with Opening Ceremonies on Sunday morning, May 5th at the Iroquois Park Arena in Whitby.  Following the ceremonies, the assembled community will immediately head over to NEB’s FUNWORLD in Oshawa to launch into 3 days of exciting competition.  Fivepin youth bowlers will compete for national titles and the coveted YBC GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE Medals in Singles, Doubles Team, Trios Team and (4-player) Mixed Team play.

The hidden jewel in Canadian youth sports, Youth Bowl Canada’s National Fivepin Championship assembles 168 young athletes and 72 certified coaches, representing all provinces and one territory.   All of the events will be held under one roof at NEB’s FUNWORLD   (1300 Wilson Road N. in Oshawa… 905-723-2631).  Apart from being the largest 5 Pin bowling centre in the world…. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded in the following divisions and age categories:

                                                                10 years of age and under          Bantam Boys Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams

at December 31st, 2018               Bantam Girls Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams

 

11 to 14 years of age                    Junior Boys Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams

15 to 19 years of age                    Senior Boys Singles, Doubles, Mixed Teams & Trios Teams
