Yorke & Dumeah win top prizes at 2020 #GolfBeattieStrong Men’s Senior

Comeauville N.S. – Today marked the final round of the 2020 #GolfBeattieStrong Men’s Senior Championship, hosted by Clare Golf & Country Club. When the dust settled, Tim Yorke from Green Gables Golf Club in PEI claimed the top spot.

Yorke, a Cape Breton native, carded one double, two bogeys, and 6 birdies to finish the round two-under-par 69. Yorke finished the tournament with a three day total of 73-73-69–215.

Two shots back, and finishing in second place was Rob Collins of Clare Golf & Country Club. Collins fired a two-under-par 69 today, carding three bogeys and five birdies, and finished the tournament four-over-par (77-71-69–217).
Jeff Hovell of Ashburn Golf Club finished in third place, with a three day total of 75-74-70–219.

Gary Smith of Paragon Golf & Country Club finished first in division 2, after firing a two-over-par 73. Giving Smith a three day total of (78-76-73–227). One shot back, and in second place was NSPPC player Tony Huskilson, with a tournament total of (79-71-78–228), and rounding out the top three was Steve Ingram of Lost Creek Golf Club. Ingram’s three day total was (74-80-79–233).

Ed Dumeah went wire-to-wire to claim top spot in the Super Senior (65+) division. The Osprey Ridge Golf Club member carded a five-over 76, to finish the tournament (74-72-76–222).
