Winnipeg’s own Revolution Diving Named Diving Plongeon Canada Team of the Year! Team Awesome

Winnipeg, MB – Manitoba Diving Association is proud and excited to announce that Revolution Diving, based out of the Pan Am Pool in Winnipeg, Manitoba is the recipient for the Diving Plongeon Canada Team of the Year “Team Awesome” award!

Just like many other clubs around the country this year, Revolution Diving was locked out of their facility for an extended period. The shutdown allowed them to come together as a group, try new things, adjust, and then try some more new strategies to persevere and still practice the sport we all love.

It was evident that their group consisting of athletes, parents, alumni and coaches were onto something special as their programming not only continued, but their club actually grew in numbers!

Despite running programs through Zoom, in public parks, in parents’ backyards, in outdoor pools, Revolution Diving kept their wheels turning.   It is a unique circumstance when a club can boast that they had an “outstanding year” during a pandemic. But through head coach, Dallas Ludwick’s leadership, Revolution Diving can make this claim.

Congratulations to all the athletes, coaches, families, and volunteers of Revolution Diving, Diving Plongeon Canada’s most “Awesome” Team of the Year!
