TORONTO— The University of Waterloo will host the 2024 East-West Bowl on Saturday, May 11, at 12:30 pm ET at Warrior Field.

The event features the top 100 Canadian university football players eligible for the 2025 CFL Draft as they look to showcase their skills to coaches, general managers, and personnel from the Canadian Football League. A minimum of three players in their third or fourth year from each of the 27 U SPORTS football programs will attend the game.

The event will also feature a coaches clinic on May 10 and 11 at Warriors Field.

“The Waterloo Warriors, with the support of our Athletic Department, LIT and our football program, are excited for the opportunity to host this annual weeklong all-star event,” said Warriors head coach Chris Bertoia. “Our intent is for U SPORTS football student-athletes and coaches to have an outstanding experience at the University of Waterloo.”

The head coaches of the 2023 Vanier Cup finalists will lead the teams. Marco Iadeluca, bench boss of the Vanier Cup Champion Université de Montréal Carabins, oversees Team East, while Blake Nill, head coach of the UBC Thunderbirds, guides Team West.
