Ottawa – May 24, 2022 – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Alisha Geier, a U SPORTS rugby athlete affiliated with Wilfred Laurier University, received a six-month sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on October 1, 2021, revealed the presence of cathine, a prohibited specified stimulant.
