Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport – (Ottawa, Ontario – February 7, 2019) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Trivel Pinto, a U SPORTS football athlete affiliated with the University of British Columbia, received a two-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on October 27, 2018, revealed the presence of cocaine, a prohibited stimulant.

U SPORTS Football Athlete Suspended for Presence of Terbutaline

The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on September 29, 2018, revealed the presence of terbutaline, a beta-2 agonist.
