True Sport Spotlight: BC Artistic Swimming

BC Artistic Swimming (BCAS) is June’s True Sport Spotlight! BC Artistic Swimming (BCAS) has been trail-blazing a meaningful commitment to culture change in their sport through their activation of True Sport since 2017. Since then, they continue to explore innovative and fun ways to bring True Sport to life within their network.

“True Sport helps us ensure that the sport we are offering is providing a fun, safe, welcoming space for all members – not just for our athletes but also volunteers, staff, coaches, and officials,” said Jennifer Keith, Executive Director, BCAS.

NEW RESOURCE: The True Sport Experience

Are you an educator, sport or recreation leader or coach looking for fun and different ways to activate True Sport? We are proud to announce the launch of The True Sport Experience – Volume 1: FUNdamentals. This resource is designed for people who work with children ages 6 to 9 and consists of a series of activities within the context of the seven True Sport Principles.
 
The True Sport Experience is endorsed by Physical & Health Education Canada.
