Triathlon Canada Extends Partnership with 2XU Through 2024

VICTORIA—When athletes in the Triathlon Canada Nation safely return to the start line, they will be pushing past the competition in 2XU race uniforms and training apparel thanks to a renewed partnership with one of the world’s most technically advanced triathlon apparel brands that will extend through 2024.

Building on an initial two-year agreement, Triathlon Canada and 2XU Canada have announced the internationally-recognized triathlon clothing brand will supply all compression garments, training and racing apparel for Triathlon Canada’s high-performance athletes and age group teams, coaches and officials, over the next Olympic and Paralympic quadrennial.

“As business and organizations around the world struggle to navigate through the financial challenges presented by the global pandemic, never have partnerships been more valued,” said Kim Van Bruggen, chief executive officer, Triathlon Canada. “To be able to build on the loyalty of a strong relationship with 2XU is not only a huge advantage for athletes to continue to focus on their preparation, but it also demonstrates the value of our brand, which is paramount at this time. We are thrilled to have 2XU teaming up with us on the road to Tokyo and Paris.”

2XU provides a high-performance competitive advantage for triathletes, helping them to better prepare, perform, recover and repeat. 2XU, which has partnered with many top sporting teams and world-leading triathletes,  is on a mission to help create a fitter and healthier world.

“2XU is thrilled to be renewing and expanding on our partnership with Triathlon Canada for another four years,” said Alex Mallen, Director of Brand Partnerships for 2XU North America. “The Triathlon Canada community have been great partners and we are excited about further engaging with athletes and supporters to be an even bigger part of their journey to chase their finish lines.”

Triathlon Canada and 2XU will continue to work together to implement year-round merchandise programs through the national sport body’s online store, and will provide opportunities for Triathlon Canada members to take advantage of the high quality performance wear by offering great deals throughout the year.
