Top Junior Athletes in Fredericton for 2020 Junior East Championship

(March 9, 2020 – FREDERICTON, N.B.) The 2020 Junior East Wheelchair Basketball Championship is coming to Fredericton, N.B., from March 14-15 at the Richard J. Currie Center at the University of New Brunswick.
 
Athletes, both with and without disabilities, representing New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec will compete for a regional championship crown in 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball. The event marks the first leg of the journey towards the 2023 Canada Winter Games in P.E.I.
 
Spectators and media are invited to attend the tournament. Media can capture visuals of the games and athletes and coaches will be available for post-game interviews. The gold medal game will take place on Sunday March 15 at 11 a.m. AT.

  • Sunday March 15, 2020 – 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (AT)

The event is governed by Wheelchair Basketball Canada and presented by Parasport New Brunswick.
