April 15, 2024 (Ottawa, ON) – Tickets for Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team’s summer fixtures against Scotland and Romania at TD Place in Ottawa will go on sale on Thursday April 25, 2024, at 8:00am PT/11:00am ET.

Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team will mark their return to Canada’s capital on Saturday July 6 at 5:00pm ET against the number six ranked Scotland. The match will also kick off the 2024 season for Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team, the first of three matches to be played on home soil this summer before the team travels to the United States and Japan as part of the Pacific Nations Cup.

Canada and Scotland will compete for the Douglas JL Horn Memorial Cup, which was first played for in 2008 and is contested any time the two teams meet. The Douglas Horn Cup was sponsored by the late Alan Horn, a stalwart supporter of Canadian rugby and a titan in Canada’s communications industry, who named the trophy after his father and former Scottish rugby player, Douglas Horn.

The following Friday, July 12, Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team will play Romania with kick-off at 7:00pm ET. This match will be the first time these two teams have met since 2017 in Edmonton, and has valuable implications towards the world rankings, with Romania ranked one spot above Canada at number 20.

Tickets start at $30 plus taxes and fees, with ticket options including four levels of reserved seating, as well as standing general admission and club seating. Sign up here by 11:59 pm ET on Wednesday April 17 to secure the best seats in the house through early ticket access and to be the first to learn more about additional rugby events and fan activations taking place in Ottawa this July.

“Playing in front of a home crowd at TD Place in 2022 was an amazing experience,” said Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team player Conor Keys, who grew up in Stittsville and first played rugby with Ottawa’s Barrhaven Scottish RFC. “Ottawa has a strong and passionate rugby community that I am proud to represent and be part of, and I’m looking forward to seeing the city of Ottawa come out to TD Place this summer and put their support behind our team.”

“Ottawa is thrilled to welcome Canada’s Rugby Team as they host Scotland and Romania and kick off their 2024 season. There’s no better feeling than playing in front of a home crowd, and Ottawa is the perfect setting for it. We look forward to receiving family and friends from all teams with our big Team Ottawa welcome.” – Mayor of Ottawa, Mark Sutcliffe
