Tickets now on sale for Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team return to Vancouver

Tickets to the highly anticipated Canada-Australia Women’s International Friendly Match set for Tuesday 14 April at BC Place are now on sale via Ticketmaster.ca and by phone at 1.855.985.5000.

The home international soccer match will provide Canadian fans with an opportunity to see two of the top-10 nations on the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking along with some of the world’s top players currently highlighted by Canada captain Christine Sinclair who is chasing the world’s all-time international goalscoring record.

Fans can show their support for Canada on home soil with tickets starting as low as $20 (plus applicable fees) along with a number of special offers and discounts being available. For complete ticket information visit canadasoccer.com/tickets.
‘Me+3’ Offer
A special ‘Me+3’ ticket offer is available for this match. By purchasing three tickets in Price Category 2, fans will receive the fourth one free. The ‘Me+3’ ticket packages can be purchased directly via Ticketmaster.ca.

Group Ticket Discount Offer
Fans organizing a group of 10 or more are eligible to receive discounts of up to 30% off regular priced tickets. To submit a group ticket request, complete the group order form indicating the price point and quantity of tickets you are wishing to purchase here. Ticket orders will be processed on a first come, first serve basis so organize your group, club, or team today.

Premium Seating
BC Place Club Seats offer fans an enhanced match day experience featuring access to exclusive full-service food and beverage concessions, private entrance and some of the best views in the stadium.

Fans purchasing Club Seats will have access to an exclusive meet & greet opportunity with an alumni member of Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team before the match, and at half time, in the club lounge. Special autograph cards will be available for fans to pick-up upon arrival.

Canadian Supporters
Canadian supporters, led by the Voyageurs, have been allocated a number of dedicated sections in the South stands at BC Place. For more information on the Canadian Supporters please visit www.thevoyageurs.org. Please note that persistent standing will be permitted in these sections.

Visiting Supporters
Visiting supporters have been allocated seats in section 222. To purchase a seat in the visiting supporters’ sections please select ‘Australian Supporter’ from the ticket “Type” option on the Ticketmaster.ca event page.
 
CANADA AT THE CONCACAF WOMEN’S OLYMPIC QUALIFYING CHAMPIONSHIP
Canada will face St. Kitts & Nevis (29 January), Jamaica (1 February) and Mexico (4 February) in Group B after which the top two-nations in the group will cross over to alternate Concacaf Semi-finals against the top-two nations in Group A. The two winners of those Concacaf Semi-finals on Friday 7 February will qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games as well as advance to the Sunday 9 February Concacaf Final. Both the Semi-finals and Final will be played in Carson, CA, USA near Los Angeles.

OLYMPIC MEDAL WINNERS & CONCACAF CHAMPIONS
Canada are two-time Olympic bronze medal winners (2012 and 2016) and two-time Concacaf champions (1998 and 2010). In all, Canada have participated in seven consecutive editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ (1995 to 2019) and three consecutive editions of the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament (2008 to 2016). At Rio 2016, Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team were the first Canadian Olympic team to win back-to-back medals at a summer Olympic Games in more than a century.

Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Youth Teams, meanwhile, have won four Concacaf youth titles: the 2004 and 2008 Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship, the 2010 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Championship, and the 2014 Concacaf Girls’ Under-15 Championship. Canada have qualified for seven editions of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup (including a silver medal at Canada 2002) and all six editions of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup (including a fourth-place finish at Uruguay 2018).
