Kingston, April 25, 2024 – Sail Canada is pleased to announce that tickets are now available for its 2024 Canada’s Celebration of Sailing reception, which will include an official send-off to its Paris 2024 Olympic Sailing Team, to be held Friday, July 12, at Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club in Toronto, ON.

Canada’s fourth annual Celebration of Sailing, to be held during Sail Central, and which will start at 5pm, marks the pinnacle event of the season for the sport of sailing in Canada, where our nation’s high-performance sailors of past, present and future gather with welcomed guests to celebrate outstanding performances and experiences.

The limited number of tickets, available for $130 at www.sailing.ca/product/canadas-celebration-of-sailing, are set to include:

  • the official Send-off to Canada’s Paris 2024 Olympic Sailing Team;
  • a meet and greet session with members of the Olympic and National Sailing Teams, including the Development Squad and NextGen sailors;
  • entertainment from the Stories from the Helm, a captivating panel interview with 4 or 5 Canadian Performance Sailors;
  • a 50-50 Raffle as proceeds will support our Team for Paris;
  • hot and cold appetizers and complimentary refreshments;
  • a complimentary gift and special prizes;
  • and more!

Ticket holders will also receive a donation tax receipt and all proceeds will support Canada’s high performance sailing programs.
