Comeauville N.S. – Players took advantage of a perfect day at Clare Golf & Country Club. There is a three-way tie for first place after round two of the 2020 #GolfBeattieStrong Men’s Senior.
Ed Peverill of Ken-Wo Country Club, Edward Dumeah of Osprey Ridge, and Tim Yorke of Green Gables Golf Club in PEI, are all sitting at four-over-par (146) after today’s round.
Peverill carded a three-over-par on the front, followed by a three-under-par on the back for today’s round. Peverill finished the day even-par 71, for a two day total of (75-71–146).
Dumeah played a steady game today, firing one-over-par 72 during the second round, for a two day total of (74-72–146).
Yorke carded three bogeys, one double, and three birdies on the front nine, and a steady even-par on the back to finish two-over-par for the day 73. He has a tournament total of (73-73–146).
Four golfers are currently tied for fourth place, and only two shots off the lead. With a two day total of (148), they are Robert Collins of Clare Golf & Country Club, Terry Moore of The Links at Penn Hills, Paul Batchelor from Vancouver Golf Club, and yesterdays leader, Eric Tufts of Clare Golf & Country Club.
Tony Huskilson (NSPPC) leads division two, after firing an impressive even-par 71 today, for a two day total of (79-71–150). Gary Smith of Paragon Golf & Country Club, and Steve Ingram of Lost Creek sit four shots back in second place.
Ed Dumeah continues to lead the Super Senior (65+) division. He currently has a two-shot lead over Paul Batchelor of Vancouver Golf Club, who carded (76-72–148) over the two days. Gerry MacMillan of Paragon Golf & Country Club. MacMillan slipped one spot into third place, and is four shots back of Dumeah.
