Maintaining mental fitness in the period of COVID-19

Mental Performance Consultant, Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Psychologist Christie Gialloreto will discuss tips for making the most of this time of physical distancing to work on mental fitness, finding value in modified training, and using mindfulness for coping and performance.

Para rowing: Creating and navigating a path to success

National Para Team Coach John Wetzstein and World Champion Andrew Todd will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the Canadian Para rowing program in year five. They will offer their perspectives on how building a collaborative foundation with their Sport Science and Sport Medicine Team has, and will continue to, play a significant role in leading Canada’s Para rowers to success.
