Tennis Canada is pleased to invite you to a luncheon and media opportunity to mark the launch of the Billie Jean King Cup Champions Tour. Taking place at IGA Stadium on Friday, April 19, several renowned tennis personalities will be present and available to speak to the media.

Former Team Canada players Aleksandra Wozniak and Marie-Ève Pelletier, Tennis Canada’s VP of High Performance Guillame Marx, and 14-year-old junior player Mirka Delaney from Quebec will take part in a panel to discuss what the Billie Jean King Cup win means for tennis in Canada. 

Valérie Tétreault, Tournament Director of the National Bank Open in Montreal, and Heidi El Tabakh, captain of the Canadian team (via videoconference), will also address the audience at the start of the event.

  • Aleksandra Wozniak, former World No. 21 on the WTA Tour and the most winningest Canadian in Billie Jean King Cup history with 40 total victories
  • Marie-Ève Pelletier, former World No. 106 on the WTA Tour who represented the Canadian Billie Jean King Cup team for a decade
  • Guillaume Marx, Vice President, High Performance at Tennis Canada 
  • Mirka Delaney, 14-year-old junior player from Quebec
